Job Summary:
SW North America’s Spare Parts Assistant will have the responsibility for the administrative functions for the spare Parts group. As the main point of contact for this group, the Spare Parts Assistant will need to present his/herself in a professional and friendly manner in order to be able to work effectively with customers and employees.
The Spare Parts Assistant performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
- Entering Spare Parts orders and quotes
- Processing and entering invoices
- Confirming availability and lead times for spare parts
- General filing and office tasks
- Communication via phone and email with customers
- Assisting the Spare Part Coordinator and Spare Parts Manager in daily tasks
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Abilities
- Associates degree preferred, but not required
- At least 3 years of Customer Service experience
- Ability to take direction from multiple people and prioritize effectively
- Computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office
- The ability to read, write, and speak English
- German speaking ability preferred, but not required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primary work area is an office work environment, requiring the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- The ability to work on computer on a regular basis is required
Classification & Compensation
- The position is full-time, permanent and non-exempt
- The pay range varies, depending on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with the Company
